We have an annual programme of week-long
residential creative writing courses, painting, mountain walking,
photography and craft courses.
These are run on an all-inclusive
basis
save
air travel. (Easyjet, Flybe, BMI and Monarch all
have daily flights to Alicante airport - with many budget deals.

links). All courses include full use of all the Almàssera's
facilities, all food and wine (based on the local cuisine)
and accommodation either within the Almàssera or in
the annexe cottage or flat. The course
packages generally include trips into the countryside and
transport to and from the airport. Individual trips into Alicante
can
also be arranged.
We are particularly interested in offering the Almàssera
as a facility for established writers' and artists' groups
and workshops. The standard capacity will be eight persons
plus group leader/mentor.
We also offer weekly packages
for writer's and artist's retreats in off-season
periods, with
accommodation, use of
Almāserra's facilities (which include email, fax, photo-copying
and general library facilities) and catering included.
