Painting in the Marina Baja

Sue Whitmore returns to mentor another delightful week painting the dramatic landscapes, village-scapes and olive groves in the most flower-filled week of the year at the Almassera . Nightingales, swallows and fresh orange blossom to accompany tranquil hours with the palette, The price of the course is all inclusive save travel costs to Alicante airport or RENFE railway station, where we will meet you n the course opening day and return you at the close. Accommodation is in private single rooms with most accessing a private shower room. Cuisine is Mediterranean comprising buffet breakfast and lunch and a three course communal eevenig meal. Painters and walkers are supplied with pack lunches where requested. A daily vegetarian option is available and wine is served with meals. We recommend you take out cancellation and conventional health insurance insurance and all vistors are wise to bring an E111 card. Painting in A Spanish Village

Come and enjoy a week painting with me in the stunning mountainous landscape around the village of Relleu in the Valencia region of Spain. Relleu is an unspoilt mountain village, surrounded by olive and almond groves. Our accomodation is the Almassera Vella, a lovely village house built on the site of Relleu’s original olive press (the remains of which are still in situ in the living room!) There is plenty to paint from the gardens of the house itself, from the terraces of olive and orange groves that it overlooks, and in the nearby village. Each day we’ll go out to paint and I’ll demonstrate techniques and give you individual instruction to help you improve your painting skills.
