Well, month end already - how time flies!
Actually, one reason this seems to have been a short month,
is that I'm writing this earlier than usual.
I'm off to Scotland for a long weekend which will include the awards ceremony
of the Scottish International Open Poetry Competition.
I hope to tell you all about it next month.
This does mean that our deadline this month had to be earlier than usual
and there are a few things which have arrived for us which can't be
included in the April pages. Obviously, in general, the earlier in
the month you get your
submissions,
small ads etc to us, the better the chance of them appearing in the next edition.
Again, due to lack of time, I'm afraid the addition of the humour
section has had to be postponed. Remember that I'm intending to add it to the
time out section, and I'm looking for light-hearted or humorous non-fiction on any subject.
(Maximum of around 1000 wds). Please send your submissions as plain text embedded in the e-mail
- and be careful to trim those curly quotes and special characters, or what I get is illegible!
