We are thinking about adding a section to the time out pages for light-hearted or humorous non-fiction on any subject.(Maximum of around 1000 wds). Do let me know what you think about the idea.

Well, that's all for now, I'm off to try and catch up with some correspondence which has been left to one side while I've been supervising the February update. Happy writing!

I don't know about all of you, but I am so glad January is over. It always seems such a long month: it's as if it starts around the 20 somethingth of December and stretches out to nearly six weeks.

But now that's all over, and here's February, the shortest month of the lot. I wonder if it's going to bring us a little better weather. I was given a weather house for Christmas, and the poor little lady has barely poked her nose outside the front door as yet. Ah, the typical British need to talk about the weather!

There are other things to mention, too, of course, including the fact that we've completely revamped the anthology pages. Much as I liked being there alongside Byron, we've decided we really do need to separate out the contemporary poetry from the classical, so you'll find the anthology index has a new look. Why not send us some of your poems for inclusion?

There are other new things on the site this month, including articles and book recommendations.
