Well, June's here, and it's brought the summer to Madrid.
A month ago we were all fed up with the cold and the wet and kept asking when summer would begin. Now everywhere I go I hear people complaining of the heat.
That, unfortunately, is the snag with the Madrid climate - it's either winter or summer, with no real spring or autumn.
It's been a fairly quiet month here at Patchword, so I've taken the opportunity to add a couple of new classic poets to the anthology and a new vocabulary quiz in the timeout section.
There have been a lot of additions to the diary page this month: good luck to those of you are participating in competitions. Don't forget to send me details of any contests your local groups are running.
