"...the poems slip from the tongue with ease and use rhymes
that whisper their presence
... pleasure on every page
... a joy to read out loud."
Raymond Blakesley in Poetry Monthly.
A
short poem from the collection:
Autumn the monster
Pillaging
gales invade the last
Of summerÕs gaudy forts
And, loosed across the shimmering land,
Autumn, the monster, snorts.
To
flatter him the bloated rose
A fringe of rust concedes:
But, broken on the bed of earth,
The ravaged lily bleeds.
