Cider Tea Bread

1/2 pint currants
1/2 pint sultanas
1/2 pint brown sugar sugar
1/2 pint sweet cider
1 pint self raising flour
1 egg

Put fruit, cider & sugar in a bowl, stir well and cover. Leave overnight.
Next day, stir egg and flour into mixture and mix thoroughly. Turn into a greased and lined 8 inch round tin (or two small loaf tins).
Bake 90 mins at 325¼F - 170¼C - gas mark 3
