New information November 2009

Greetings, and welcome to Patchword.

I'm afraid that due to other commitments it became impossible for me to maintain the Patchword site, and both updates and maintenance ceased in 2005.

There remains a wealth of archived material on the site, though, which can be accessed either via the menu above or by going to the site map.

Since then, however, we have been busy on other projects, and we have recently launched the TantamountWords site where we offer a selection of on-line and presential courses of interest to writers.

At the moment, we've got the Poet's Toolbox as our featured course. It's an on-line course aimed at both readers and writers of poetry, and combines video and animation techniques to present the tools used by modern poets. You can try the course for free before buying the full version which lasts for over 2 hours.

We also invite you to visit our blog where we will be posting news and opinion about matters of relevance to writers, as well as updates on the courses.

My personal blog - Don't confuse the narrator - contains a selection of poetry, prose and opinion, as well as writing about writing and language in English and Spanish. Comments are welcome.

I hope you'll drop by and let us know what you think.
